Dear Minions!
So, I woke up early again for work. It was pretty normal day.
After work I went home to rest a little bit, then my friends picked me up for a day of pampering. We went to a spa to spoil our nails. There was a girl there who laughed like a youtube clip of the funniest laugh ever. Cracked us up.
Later on, I went to Nani's house to visit her. She was busy on the phone and totatly ignored me -_- but I was busy myself playing with the kids and annoying them so they will get their gifts. They are soo cute <3 They were playing games to compete and who gets the most gifts.
After annoying them I was starving so I told my uncle that I want food. I was Torn between Pizza or BurgerKing. But in the end we decided to Get Macdonalds. We went out in the car to the drive-thru and bought food. I had a bigtasty. Went Back to Nani's and we ate. I annoyed the kids some more.
After that they dropped me home and I told my aunt to come pick her kids from my house. In my house they opened their gifts and they were soo happy about it. Fajer was jealous and wanted to play with Fari's toys. She is too cute.
Well after that I went to sleep after this long day. So yeah! Cya Tmrw Minions.

Day7: 27-12-2014
Minions,,
Woke up at 11.
Last night cousins were here for a sleepover. We stayed up played a little bit of phase 10. Then I told them let's watch Annie. The old one not the new one, I DISLIKE the new Annie -judging from trailer- blekh!
So my baby cousin was like this is old movie I don't want to watch etc etc I said ok just watch the beginning and we will decide later.. 3.30 the movie wasn't finished yet so I told them we will finish the next day.
Today he came and told me 'I dreamed we watched the whole movie' sign.. He wants to finish it haha!
Thank you Sheb for showing me Annie.
We got ready then and went to granny's. Nani cooked my favorite meal ( so I have a favorite meal at home and then different favorite meal at Nani's, another at a certain restaurant etc..).
Laughed a lot, talked a lot about so many things. I found out that my little sister and cousins actually pick the phone up when it rings at Nani's.. Most of time Nani is on phone from her mobile but then there is the landline.. So when her friends call on landline the kids take the phone and go somewhere where she can't find them and prank her friends over and over again.. I thought we only did such things and kids today are busy with Ipads only vut I will say this: I am proud of them. It cracked me up so much when they did it today.
Then we celebrated dad's birthday for the fourth time haha!
Later on we went to dragon market, it's newly opened here in Oman, the famous one is the one at UAE, which is so damn huge.. So huge I don't know how many kms. This one was so small.
We had dinner at their food court .. It's disgusting sigh.. So unclean!
So now I'm home .. Thinking that I have to go to work tomorrow .. Arghhh i dowana!
Today it's colder than the previous days.. 23 degrees, like holland's summer time! It makes me feel so nostalgic to some good old days that keep repeating in my brain, giving me the same exact sight, only making me wish I could re-live them somehow..
If only!!
Goodnight minions!
Day6: 26-12-2014
Minions,,
Sorry for the delay of yesterday's post.
Woke up.. I don't know in the afternoon and got ready, because my family -dad's side- were coming.
Mom was making my favorite dish- and everyone in the family, some friends too love it so much- which is haleem. It's too spicy yet too good you can't stop eating it.
Before everyone comes my siblings and I took some haleem to granma' house and it was a fun siblings car ride, singing our lungs out!
So we reached home then, the whole family was there, we started eating. My little cousin wouldn't leave my side, she sold everyone and only wants to be with me which is so cute considering the fact that I haven seen her for too long.
After food, we surprised dad with third cake.
Slowly everyone started leaving, only some cousins remained.. We decided to play phase 10, which was so much fun.
I went to matrah then we had a religious occasion.
We were supposed to go to my uncle's for dinner but there were changes in the plan, so they all came over to our place.
We had a humble delicious dinner and then started talking and laughing about random things, good times!
My cousins stayed for sleep over, and they were so happy!
Till a new post I'll fill u in about the sleepover!
xx
Day5: 25-12-2014
Minions,
Still having this stupid cold. I could be eating ice cream right now from Baskin Robenz or softy now.
So I woke up early and went to 'work' or dawam as we say it in Arabic. 9 sharp, the office I work in was still locked I went to the neighbor office and was chatting with the girl who helped me yesterday when I fainted haha. Anyway, so my manager taught me stuff, I learnt stuff.. Started working on my report. Was quite a productive day. Then the girl came to me and told me that they were going to order from subway and if I wanted to join them, I said why not!
So I went with her and some other girls we had our lunch break. For a while there I felt I was back to high school. I went then back to her office learnt a few things about their department, my least favorite : finance department.
I got so popular there because of my fainting incident yesterday. Goddamn
Packed my things then baba picked me.
Came home sat with my family for sometime. We were watching tv and talking.
So there was a mission, it was still my dad's birthday and we wanted to throw him a surprise party. Mom with my two siblings had to go somewhere as my siblings had won't sort of class while dad went to sleep. Me and Ace went for a gift hunt !
Well this is almost the first time ace takes me for a ride ever since he got his license as all the other times it was with the whole family. Felt good I'm proud of u baby bro. Ma sha Allah
So we bought baba this
Inside joke!
As we went back my mom was there, we were waiting for my aunt then to complete the surprise. Now dad wanted to go somewhere but mama kept him busy until finally my aunt and cousins arrived
Thought the surprise went a bit not as planned as we sang so early even before he leaves the room but we managed it somehow hahah it was hilarious.
Then we went Muscat grand mall for dinner .. SPUD!!! That's my favourite in grand mall
Its mouth watering good
Oh well I'm so exhausted my eyes are closing I can't write more. I didn't rest today. In Oman today is the beginning of the weekend YAAAAY!
Goodnii..... Zzzzz

Day4: 24-12-2014
Minions,
It's been 3 years since I've gotten sick here at home! Im known to be the independent strong girl who is living abroad... I could take care of myself etc.
last night I couldn't sleep at all.. I caught cold, and I think a little fever.. When dad came to wake us up I was awake already.. Stressed and worried because I've gotten really sick and I have an interview and a traineeship today!
I didn't know how to react to be honest because I was exhausted ... I forgot the power of parents.. And how they make you feel really good when you're sick.. I missed this !
-alhamdulillah and ma sha Allah-
Dad promised me in two hours everything will be fine.. I'll get back my strengths by the time I have to wake up for the traineeship.. And he didn't lie!!
2 hours later I woke up feeling all strong and like nothing happened! Gotta love my dad's super powers haha!
So I went to the traineeship, had an interview first with the CEO then went to the building where I had to work. So I was told about a few things but then I had nothing to do. However I established the report I need to deliver and started writing a few things. I asked my manager if I could go home because the cold was giving me headache, he said it's ok, so I called dad and told him to pick me. Meanwhile, I created a dramatic scene - that's how I see it- I fainted. It was so embarrassing damn!
Oh well everyone freaked out but yeah I recovered.
Came home, had some of what my mom God bless her had cooked then went to nap.
Later on I woke up and we went out coat hunting.. Couldn't find any pffff.
Went then to grocery, and I miss going grocery with parents, because then I can buy anything haha!
Mom cooked pasta for dinner tonight it was yummy.
Also while we were having dinner the clock ticked on 12 o'clock and it meant: BABA's BIRTHDAY!
So we surprised him with a cake .. Sang our lungs out and laughed a lot. Mhmm good day!
I'll go cover myself with Vicks!
Goodnight.. Gotta wake up early for tomorrow.. Gotta work!
Day3: 23-12-2014
Minions,
Today was like.. Well yesterday the part where we woke up for fajer prayer.. Then I had two hours to sleep before I officially start my traineeship. Going back to sleep was never an issue for me.. Sleeping was never an issue because I just put my head, and minions I just sleep magically! However ever since I came to Oman I toss and turn thousand times.. Eyes closed but can't sleep. It's like sleeping but not sleeping.. You dig?
Anyway so I slept.. Woke up later by the sound of my alarm - now here is a trick I always put alarm a bit earlier so I could snooze and then not be late.. For the sake of snoozing!
My dad came to wake me and I said dad 5 mins!
So I got all ready .. Called the boss because I had to.. There was yet an interview to take place, and turns out I should go tomorrow.
Arghh!! I could have slept you know
So I went with my dad, to drop Ace to his college.. Then went to finish some errands he had to run.
So we came back home at 11.30am and mom said 'wash your face with milk and then come I'll treat your face (facial, masks, etc) ' I was happy woohoo! So I went to take off my eyeliner and then I went to mom and asked her 'mom.. Were you serious when you said wash your face with milk? Like drinking milk' both parents laughed at me turns out milk was some sort of cream and I should've known apparently. Haha! One of my many blond moments.
So my sister and brothers sent me several pictures of this cat and her kittens living in our yard.. Luji and I went to check them out.. So cute!! But they just wouldn't come down the wall.. We tried and tried.. No use!! At this moment in missing my pasta such cutie and how she comes seeking attention after a long day or giving me a belly massage !! Haha
Did I ever tell you minions, how Internet sucks in Oman? It's so damn slow!!! So me and luji sitting here and I want to show her Annie from my bro's ps4 and it's taking for damn ever.
So I napped. In Oman, a nap is a must after lunch.. I didn't want to but it happened!
M dinner today was KFC.. And believe me minions the food we get here is so much better than Europe
Kijk
After that I've been doing this with le sis
It's fun.. 1000 pieces puzzle..
We didn't finish it.. I'm catching cold, damn it!
I'm going to bed.. Hopefully tomorrow I will start the traineeship!
Night night!

Day2: 22-12-2014
Readers,
I didn't feel like posting yesterday, was so tired. Although I felt the journey was quick, yet I was so tired.
I watched two Dutch movies. Oh and the best part was when I was entering the gates the the man spoke Dutch to me and surprisingly I replied fully in Dutch haha!
Today began with dad woke us up for fajer prayer... Oh how much I missed this. Also because my little brother had to go to school for a while there I felt like I was back to school.
I prayed then went back to sleep.. Head so heavy.. Smell and sound of the AC... Mhmm would never get enough of it!
After lunch..
I kinda had to baby sit luji though she's not baby ! Well had to make her do some sort of homework.. It's hard to be a parent especially when it's homework time .. But hey! I'm all prepared and know about it !
After that I had some pakora made by mama ( at 5.30 - 6sh) and was doing some assignments .. Damn you assignments!
Later we went to visit my grandpa .. And granma ( not directly but I love them so much!) met my uncle and his kids as well.. His baby daughter grew so much than the last time I remember seeing her.. And we became best friends after she saw my water marble nailpolish hahah!! ( she's 3 I think?).
After that I went to my aunt's, she brought Lebanese food which included dolma - NomNom - and just like old days we sat there talking and laughing... I missed this!!
Coming back home after a long day was good.. I forgot to check my social media stuff .. Yes I'm the addicted to social media type of person but I don't have time to check it which makes me happy.. I HAVE A LIFE!!!
My siblings kept annoying me because they like to do that until I came to my room where Luji started telling me so many stories.. Did I ever mention to ya'll how cute she is? She will always be the baby I changed diapers for.. No matter how old she gets!
Then she showed me her secret treasure...
Yes! A bunch of erasers Hahhhhhahahahhaa these are cute and it did crack me up!
Goodnight now.. I have a long day tomorrow

Day1: 20-12-2014
Readers!
I thought I would post a blog everyday from today on until my Christmas holiday are over - no promises though.. I know once I go to Oman I'd be really busy!
20-12-2014
Left home in the afternoon to go to schipol (Amsterdam airport) because the hotel I booked is 10 minutes away from it by shuttle.
First stop was the cupcakes store.. Did I ever mention to you that during my stay in Holland sometimes I go all the way to schipol for cupcakes! Or Khadija is kind enough to buy Em for me :$ !
The shuttle was waiting outside.. Took me to Radison Blu
While at reception looking at my cupcakes impatiently.. Something something happened and my room got upgraded for some amount of money.
Viola !
Then there was the long conversation.. And NomNomNom part between me and the cupcakes ..
And een kopje koffee!
Went back to schipol for a little scavenger hunt..
Grabbed me dinner...
And those
Now believe me.. I dislike eating honey or drinking it or anything.. But those from body shop soap-body butter--and bubble bath with the essence of honey ... Mhmm!
To be honest I feel like a person who has just been out of cave. I realized once again that living here as a student I gave up a lot of luxury. Well to Europeans what we live in Middle East is considered luxurious but that's how we live.. Whats normal there is considered a wow factor here. So yea.. I kinda forgot how awesome life used to be.
But hey... It's always awesome to live and try different lifestyles... And appreciate what you've had!
My flight is soon!
Safe trip to me, happy reading to you!
Bye x

Saxion international Start-Up Challenge
I would like to firstly demonstrate gratitude to Saxion centre for Entrepreneurship for arranging this almost life changing event.
Now to my experience in this workshop which denied me\us the weekend, but it was totally worth it!
I was so excited when I signed up for it a month earlier.. Getting the butterflies every time I think about it, feeling all motivated and inspired to take a part in it.
Finally the day came where we had to go to the workshop, had to travel from Deventer to Enschede but then take a bus to the place.. Which thanks to me, Kaspars and I took the wrong bus [ I have a good history with the buses and locations! Never ask me about those unless you want to end up somewhere totally random!].
Met a lot of people, which was fun. Learning what their visions are.
The funny part was.. That we all went on Friday [12th of December 2014] with an idea.. and by Sunday [14th of December 2014] almost everyone had so many modifications in their ideas!
We worked on several canvases.. Instead of filling a whole report about the business idea with all the tiny details that I'm somehow sure no one bothers to read -at least that's what I think!-
Played some games.. Had various inputs from others, and I think that was fun and helpful.
Hectic three days.. I'm telling you at some point I told myself that's it I'm so tired -I'M GOING HOME- ...
However, now that it's over I'm missing those 3 busy days.. Not that I'm willing to compromise another weekend -haha!- but it was FUN.
Meeting some entrepreneurs was the big deal part.. Some didn't show interest while 2 of whom I spoke to encouraged me a lot which motivated me further into working hard on the idea and thinking about starting right away, which is my next step hopefully!
Couldn't get the group picture yet of the whole team.
Well.. until the next post!

Cycling.. IN PARIS!!!!!
Here is my story about how I'm terrified to cycle.
ok, terrified might be exaggerated but it's true.. I'm scared to cycle.
I mean, when I was a kid, I cycled around in the neighborhood and I was happy about it, in fact I love to cycle in the neighbor.. in the park. However in Europe, people cycle to reach from one point to another - Unlike in middle-east where we use cars for everything.. even the neighbor supermarket sometimes!
When I came to the Netherlands, and knew that my moving around options were : walking, cycling, or taking the bus I thought hey, this is not hard I could take the bus.. But buses have different timings and sometimes it doesn't help since I end up having to wait. So I thought okay I'll walk... but let's face it I'm kinda lazy.. so the only option left is to cycle.
The thought of cycling on the road where there are cars and buses scares me somehow, I'm not used to this. I panic most of time.
I've tried cycling; once I cycled from Esncede (Netherlands) to Gronau (Germany) it was a pleasant adventure. I figured as long as I cycle with friends around me it's okay but then again.. they won't be around me all the time.
I decided I'll just walk!
Then we had this school-trip to Paris, where we had a task to cycle in Paris and listen to the Audio tour guide we have made within our groups, and there was no way I could ditch it.
The thing about Paris is that the roads are always busy -DUH!- and the drivers are crazy. No one somehow cares about the signs on road, and everyone drive as they please, I've seen it.
What's worse -Unlike Netherlands- they don't kinda have special road for cycles and that's even more than terrifying.
I'd like to thank my group members, and other friends whom I cycled with later on for being so patient with me as I was so scared and they took so much care of me .. Felt like a baby but it was good haha.
I SURVIVED!! Thank god. Although I almost bumped into cars and people maybe 5 times or more?
It was so intimidating at the moment, but now that it is over, I think it was fun. It was an adventure and looking back to it, I think deep down I was enjoying it.
We cycled almost the whole day - literally!- to the point where my blood glucose went hypo and I had to stop and get my sugar dose.
Now that I'm back to the Netherlands I think cycling will never be scary anymore, you can't even compare the safety of cycling here and cycling in Paris.
Ima cycle like a baws!!

Presentation skills
Hello my lovelies,
It sure has been a long while since I last blogged!
I've been truly busy during the summer in Oman, then came back to the Netherlands, got busier and a bit too lazy to fill in with all the exciting news!!
I'll probably post some of the events that took place, sometime later!
Here is something I'd like to share:

#Selfie
You might think it's corny, but with this trend going on everywhere, and the fact that I'm a huge selfie lover, using it for educational purposes isn't wrong!
I mean, if we are to study, we might as well enjoy it, right? right?
I see a smile there!
I had to grab the attention of everyone, therefore when I suggested a selfie before presenting MY presentation, everyone sat close to each other and some posed as you can see. I think they were really interested.
I've always loved presenting, I love talking with the audience, and it's okay to go a little wild sometimes.. It's okay to think outside the box.
I'm loving the current study, it's not stressful yet, but more of fun having while studying!!
However there are some troubles I'm facing with Saxion.
Such as the late reply on my Emails, hence I didn't get the exemptions. Bleh!
I think they could do so much better and really start off helping the students, THE INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS!
We need some attention too, you know.
Goodnight

Hash Browns ~ Nom Nom !
This post was originally written during Ramadhan when I was still in the Netherlands! ~
Yes.. It's all about food, when I have enough time to be creative!!
& Since it's Ramadhan, and my brother and I are far from home, it's my duty to cook him yummy things, though they might not be anything like my mom's -may god bless her and give her long life- food.
I'm a potato lover! Therefore, today I've tried making hash browns..
Ingredients:
- 10 small potatoes [ that's what I've found here.]
- 1 onion
- mozzarella cheese
- salt & pepper
- 2 eggs
- oil
How to make it:
- peal the potato skin, and grate it.
[ the potato will be all watery, try to dry it out, in my case, i used tissues and tries to dry them, they didn't dry off completely, but it kinda worked!]
- chop the onion.
- heat the pan, one table spoon of oil should be enough.
- put the chopped onions and the pealed\grated potatoes in one bowl, add the eggs, salt and pepper then mix them.
- take small portion of the mixture you have [3-4 normal spoons] and place it on the pan, let it cook for 2-3 minutes, then flip it.
you should have something like this in the end.
The first picture looks like pancake, I like the second one more I guess.
You can make it look the way you want it.
Bon Appetite potato lovers!

How to make tacos
NomNomNomNom..
I'm picky when it comes to food. Been craving for tacos since ages,,
& since I live in Deventer, there aren't much restaurants here with different types of food, as well as Halal [ like Enschede, I was happy there, food wise!].
Let's start with the ingredients:
- minced meat
- taco shells
- cumin
- onions [chopped]
- 1 cup of water
- red chili pepper
- black pepper
- Oil
- tomato paste
- Garlic paste [or powder]
- mozzarella cheese
- Lettuce
- black olive
- corn [ I haven't used it this time but it shall give a good taste!]
- Taco sauce [ there is a green one and red one, I used the red :P and it's spicy ]
Now, here is a thing about me, I always use very little oil, health-wise issues! So I'd advise you to use little as there is no need for a lot of it, stay healthy!!
But off course, you're the chef in your kitchen, so it's up to you!
The way to prepare it:
- Heat the oil on a big pan, then add the chopped onions.
- Add the chili powder, cumin, black pepper, garlic paste\powder and mix them with the onions [2-3 minutes]
- Add the beaf [ minced meat]
I didn't have minced meat, so I used another type of beef, it just tastes good when cooked well anyway!]
- add half cup of water, and keep mixing. [4-5 minutes]
- After a while add some tomato paste to give it a good flavor
Keep cooking, and you shall know when it's ready.. it will smell good and you can taste it to know it's ready!
The presentation:
1- Place the lettuce in the taco shell
2- Place the meat next
3- Add the taco sauce on top
4- Then add the Mozzarella
5- finally Olive, and corn
You should have in the end something like the picture on the top of the page!
This was my very first attempt, it wasn't perfect, but it was YUMMMYY!
Bon appetite !!
Blessed Ramadhan,,,

Ramadhan is knocking our doors!
The title is a literal translation of the quote in Arabic, and I love it!
I remember that saying in Arabic, as kids.. We really thought Ramadhan is a person who's going to visit us.
The month is so spiritual I love everything about it. Everything suddenly has a different flavor, everything somehow feels different when it's all the same!
Thank god [al-hamdulillah] we're alive, to live another holly month and accomplish what we couldn't previously, and try to be better people!
To those who don't know what Ramadhan is:
it's a holly month to muslims, where we have to fast from certain timing to a certain timing, fast from sins, food, and drink.
Let's say in Oman, the morning prayer is somewhere at 4.30-5.00 AM, so that's when fasting starts, and then it's broken by 18.30-19.00 when the maghrib prayer comes to time.
I would recommend [ foreigners] to try living Ramadhan in an Arabic [or a muslim country in that case] country, and you'll know what I mean!
My message to everyone out there:
I have been seeing tweets prior to Ramadhan with people writing stuff like;
' now that certain person would pretend to be religious just because it's ramadhan'
'the religious messages would be sent from this person, when did s\he become religious?'
and such tweets, messages, Facebook statuses etc..
I'd kindly ask you to stop such actions, and ask people around you to stop such messages as well.
It's a holly month, you get double the blessings you get in normal days, so why not encourage everyone to do good deeds instead of making fun of them.
Who knows? Maybe those people who 'suddenly' turn religious in Ramadhan are slowly trying to get in to the right track? The right path?
Instead of mocking them and making fun of them, show them appreciation.
After all, we have to agree that the judgement is for god, so quit the mocking and the joking and help others into being better people.
Reminder: Our religion is all about peace, love and care. So kindly, stop giving others' bad image about us.
Some people would argue: no, it's all the same. They're all good for one month and then they're back to old habits.
Again, you're not the one to judge here, we make mistakes and flaws, we sometimes lose the right track but you never know that sudden change in heart that happens during the month, maybe not this year, maybe not next year, but some 'year' that will change, wouldn't it?
Think about what I wrote, and spread the word.
xo

Food problems, abroad!
I love the idea of studying\living abroad, it's the best thing anyone could ever experience. [ of course, only if you're responsible enough.. otherwise you won't survive, and believe me, life out here in reality isn't anything like what they show on movies\tv ]
However, there is always this one problem.. FOOD!
Back home, I was used to getting food served for me, I didn't have to think of what should be cooked today, how, when, if we have the ingredients to cook the meal, and now; this responsibility is on my head. sigh.
I miss my mom's cooking.. I promise I won't complain again about any food that's made at home, take me back, I want to eat what mom cooks!
It's not a problem for me specifically, I LOVE pasta and mashed potato, and believe me when I say : I eat pasta almost 4 times a week and still crave for it. Same goes with any potato dish. I have no complains in that.. but then again, when you have a visitor\family member etc.. they don't prefer what you prefer.
ALSO, all these yummy food pictures online my friends keep posting [since taking a picture of your food before eating it is an essential thing to do nowadays] I keep craving for other things.
I'm too lazy to cook, that's the truth about me [but it has nothing to do with my love for pasta and potato!]
I was thinking, if someone volunteered to cook 'healthy' food for students abroad with a good price monthly, wouldn't that be profitable for the person, and a good deal for the student? People, spread the word? Easy money!!
In Oman the food is affordable from restaurants and such, but abroad ordering from out everyday is both; unhealthy & costly.
If someone offered to cook me at least one meal [coz I only eat one mean] here I'd go for it, but on a condition that it shall be healthy and non oily. [yup, because of my diabetes condition!]
okay, gotta cook!
bye for now

Hair conditioner
I've always enjoyed having short hair- It's a fact!
But for almost 2-3 years I've let my hair grow, the tragedy was; it kept falling like crazy. It drove me insane. Its normal for hair to fall of but not as much as my hair did. I finally decided to cut it hoping it would fall less (also, for the sake of changing).
For a period of time it stopped falling off, and it made me happy. However I started regretting somehow cutting it, it happens every now and then.
Anyhow, it started falling again, which made me wonder, why?
I had my doubts always on the conditioner.. But this time there was no doubts, it is true, the conditioner is doing that to my hair.
I used to use Pantene for a while (shampoo only)
I don't recall any problems with my hair, I think it kept my hair fresh.
Then my mom suggested L'OREAL total hair repair
It was even better than Pantene somehow, made my hair even fresher with really good scent..
When I cut my hair, the only difference was that my conditioner was finished so I didn't use any conditioner, as a result my hair was fine for a period of time, but last week I started using the conditioner again and my hair got all messed up again and started to fall off like crazy once more!
I recall using different conditioners earlier when I was 16\17 the ones with fruit essence, and since then I've been having trouble with conditioners. =\
It also makes my hair oily in like a short while.
It makes me sad because the conditioner gave me a good feeling about my hair, as well as I didn't find difficulties with styling my hair, it kept it from being so dry.
I guess no more hair conditioner for me.
It's time to change shampoo again because to be honest, I don't find any use of this shampoo without it's conditioner.
pff..

FortaRock 2014 THE Netherlands
I can finally say that I've been to a real concert!
Okay, so FortaRock might isn't really my kind of thing but I've been dragged to go -along with my friends- to it, the bands playing were all metal bands and well.. People I don't know or enjoy their music, except for skillet, I love them!!!
I went there, dressed all black kinda gothic? Meh.. I think I dressed up just normal =D but the dark shade of the lipstick did give its effect to the whole thing.
31st of May 2014, in Nijmegen ... The FortaRock Iron maiden concert took its place.
12 hours of music.
12 afternoon till 12 midnight
... and there we were.
The bands that played on that day were:
- Iron maiden
- Slayer
- Anthrax
- Dimmu Borgir
- Alter Bridge
- Graveyard
- Gojira
- Deafheaven
- Sabaton
- Behemoth
- Trivium
- Ghost
- Carcass
- Vandenberg's moonkings
- Skillet
- Blood ceremony
- The charm the fury
Right.. And again, I only knew skillet :')
It was in a park, there were 3 stages as you can see in the picture; The main stage, Monster energy stage and Jagermeister stage (in a tent!)
And it was crowded, there were those with costume which actually looked nice on some, really funny on others.
I was the only girl with Hijab on.. literally. Minority of the people stared at me which made me feel weird somehow, but soon the majority greeted me. Some people asked to take picture with me Felt like a celebrity.. yay me!
Every now and then people greeted me.. they were really nice. I had several conversations with most who warmly welcomed me and said that it's good to have me here. wow. I liked the fact that it wasn't so racist, but filled with smiles and greetings, made me feel happy.
The memories of that day makes me giggle, it was so much fun.
Here's a video of Skillet's entrance, and the first song *goosebumps*
note: the video isn't taken by me, the one i took from my phone isn't really long or so clear!!
well, as I mentioned I knew no band but I ended up singing almost everything coz no one cares when you're in the crowd, everyone are singing their own version!!
I loved the Iron maiden performance, it was more like a play! Everytime new background new clothes new statue!!
People were crazy - no mosh pit whoa thank god coz it scared me* their music wasn't scary like the other bands ahahaha and by scary I mean those who scream, yup I don't like these kinds of songs!
I sang my lungs out, it was amazing!!
One of the best days ever!!

My 21st Birthday!
Long time no blog, I know. Missed me? I'm sure you did.
I'll blog about a sweet memory of an event that happened recently; my birthday party!
Yes, I'm one of those people who get really excited about birthdays, it's a big deal.. It's a once a year kind of thing so you shall celebrate it. Celebrate the fact that you made it to another year successfully.
The first year when I came to the Netherlands, my birthday was kind'f a normal day no biggie, and the year after -which is last year- I went to Oman and had a pretty celebration with my family, but this year I thought... time for a big fancy party! To be honest, with all the chaos of studies and the tension I needed a different kind of break.. I needed the way we celebrate at home kind of a party, and so that's what I did.
Finding a party hall was the tough part of it all. Couldn't host the party at my place because I invited so many people. After an extensive search for a hall, I finally decided to throw the party at the international house in Deventer, which is utterly large and a legitimate place for a party!
The party was on Thurday [8th of May] and I had classes to attend, after the classes went to pick my friend from the station, it was raining badly [that's one thing about the Netherlands, it's sunny 5 minutes then it starts raining, and it goes on like that] went to the city center to find a balloon shop because, I had to have some of those helium balloons, they look pretty and I'm weak when it comes to pretty stuff.
The dress code was : Black, fancy. [to everyone] but since I'm the princess of the party I wore white-red Moroccan style dress, which added the Arabic flavor.
Went to the hall, decorated the place.
People came over, talking here and there.. Socializing.
The cake was the best part of course, here take a look :-
Who would not like that?
right?
right?
Looking forward for the next birthday party!!
But first... let me enjoy being 21 [u thought i'd say let me take a selfie huh? huehue] =D

[ After the party of course so much was left because I'm greedy xD - i kid- and I had the cake on breakfast for 3 days and was happy about it, haven't done that in ages!]
My Omani friends made my foreign friends dance Balochi and it was hilariously amazing how they all just went in dancing as if they know it, pretty impressing.
There was a part where everyone inhaled the helium balloons and had funny voices. I have my own balloon story which happened and was epic [ I think the story of the week?] which I would keep to myself and to those who were in the party, because .. you need some suspense and you need to feel sorry for not being at my party. [ Mean maybe? dunno, but if you ask me I will tell you the story I just don't want to publish it here ;) ] Also, since my party was drama-free this was a tiny itty bitty drama-like situation but thoroughly funny. [Thanks Stefan!]
My personal favorite part was the day after.. Because this is what I had to deal with:-
Who would not like that?
right?
right?
