Let me say, the experience was pretty bad. We were disappointed coz there weren't any real celebrations in Den Haag. Didn't feel like queen's day at all. [Just to make it clear, Den haag is like 4 hours away from Enschede] So much time wasted... & after walking there for a while, we decided to take a train to Amsterdam [though it was really late!]
We Reached Amsterdam, it was 8.30 pm? We could only see the wastes on the streets. Party was over. [We somehow managed to participate in a party but yeah it was the last i guess].
I was however, happy with my wig.
Today, we were fully prepared. Going to Amsterdam straight away, no time to waste. Started off with a little group but when we were there, we were a huge group.
Partying, not really my thing. I figured today that I suffocate in crowded areas. I just enjoyed the company of the bunch we were hanging out with. Cracking jokes, taking pictures, and walking around. 5 hours were enough for me.
Came across lots' of people.. Seen different new costumes [Esp. Slender 'men' not MAN .. in orange]
Had a lovely dinner in an Egyptian restaurant [Reminded me of Oman a lot! <3 ]
back home.. exhausted!
These are some awesome memories :')
my unborn children. Your mom blogs... u can read this in the future.
Oh, I forgot to mention. Actually this year the queen doesn't want to be the queen anymore, so yeah her son became the king. It's supposed to be called king's day but I don't know everyone's saying queen's day!
I love Netherlands<3
