Self-Esteem > Jealousy ?
When someone's showing 'jealousy' signs, it only signifies how successful you are, as well as how they're trying too hard to be you. As a matter of fact, the reason that their intention is bad and their souls are sick they will never ever reach to your level, no matter how hard they would try.
It sadness me to see these people crush themselves with such behavior. Have some mercy on yourself. Being jealous won't bring any benefit, it will keep on destroying you and your whole life and what ever you've been trying to build. I could only explain this behavior by linking 'jealousy' with having low self-esteem. So maybe instead of wasting time hating on people and envying them people should try working on their self-esteem!
- Self-esteem:
it's always good to accept who you are. Observing the mistakes would help acknowledging where the weak points are, maybe these flaws are fixable! It always helps when a close friend is involved, the friend could listen maybe help as well stating opinions. Making mistakes is just natural, everyone made mistakes but then people move on, only the foolish repeats the same mistake, therefore learn from the mistake and move on. Now that you have recognized the mistakes, it's time to list the good points and the successes that you've achieved, then take sometime appreciating what you have. If someone compliments you accept it gracefully, don't be all cocky about it, no one likes it. Look at the mirror for sometime and learn to love yourself. Help others, not to show off but because it will give you good feeling. Don't go bragging about it to everyone otherwise you're a douche.
No one is perfect so never ever think you would reach perfect-ism, so cross that word from your dictionary and be humble.
There, a superb self-esteem built easily!! There are no more reasons to be jealous anymore, right?
When I first started writing this blog entry, I was pretty upset considering the fact that I learnt so much about so many people I never expected such behavior from, the style of what I wrote was pretty aggressive, nevertheless I won't bring down my level to these people. I'm going to kill them softly with kindness.... or an evil twisted way! psst.. kill is a metaphor here
A wise person knows when to stop sharing knowledge with the surrounding. Sometimes, people poison you with what they have to share, but if your principles are strong you know when to talk and when to nod just to push them away, or to fool them by making them believe you agree. Being diplomatic is the key.
Again, jealous would only harm the jealous person, the person is probably angry, furious and feeling threatened. Would you want to be known as that person?
Question : Why are you jealous of that?
If you answer this question you might know the answer or the solution you crave for and then maybe your misery would be over?
Everyone has a special quality about themselves, so don't worry if that person is better in 'A' then maybe you're better in 'B' !
One more point, never think that the world revolves around you, and only you. I mean everyone has that moment where everything revolves around them - or that's what they think - but don't go over extending with that. Bragging and making everything sound is about you is only pathetic.
'Live and let live!'
'What goes around comes back around'
Maybe these last two quotes would help further if the whole lecture that I wrote was useless.
I forgive you... maybe not! wait for your turn..
PS. if you think you're a jealous person and this post is about you be my guest to be the meant one. I mean.. don't come asking me if I mean you by this post or not, everyone know what they've done.

Group work ??
So yeah, part of studying what I'm studying is having to work in groups constantly. Believe me, it's not as easy as it may seem. Interacting with people from different countries, different cultures, different personalities isn't really so easy, unless you are patient and not bad tempered like myself. However, this year I'm keeping my cool up. I'm not losing my temper anymore, I'll use the threatening method. No, I'm not being horrible, I just don't want to ache my head anymore, right?
I've worked with different types of people, and have had a tough time, I wonder how did I keep myself from going all mad and yelling at them, I think it's called being mature right? I'd rather call it the observation period, secondly, I don't want to make enemies because apparently if you tell someone to work harder or any kind of that advice they would say you're no longer their friend and start whining about it, also talk bad behind your back.
If you want people to work with you and co-operate well, you've gotta be a good leader, some people mistake being a dictator for being a leader, guess what homie, you're wrong. It will only make people avoid you, and feel depressed or show you all signs of disturbance and believe me you don't want to feel unwanted. If you know you're going to spend 4 years with the same people, you have to make it at least a peaceful phase for yourself and them because apparently you'll have to work with them in these 4 years anyway, no running away from that. By being a good leader I do mean being strict but not a dictator!! Set some rules, explain it to everyone and make sure you ask for others opinions on why they think you decided to set such rule, and give them examples about how you want the work done and what do you expect. Explain the punishments too. Moreover, don't do the mistake of giving them a paper with list of rules without sitting and discussing it.
You might come across people who would remain silent the whole time and\or agree with everything, these shouldn't be dangerous but make sure you talk to them individually later on perhaps get to know what's in their mind.
Being a leader doesn't really mean you get to boss around, you have to realize part of being a leader means you have big responsibility to look after your team and correct everything eventually
"A leader is best when people barely know he exists, when his work is done, his aim fulfilled, they will say: we did it ourselves."
Make sure you remember that quote, because a leader is definitely not a dictator. Now you want your team to love you and work well with you, why not sit in a group and do the work altogether, a good atmosphere helps getting better results, whereas demanding the whole time and stressing out won't help you at all. Yes, I've worked with those tensed over nothing.
So what if you're not the leader? You don't have to always be the leader, give chance to others as well right? if their method haven't worked then maybe you could step up. Give others chance always, they might impress you when you ask them to be the leader for once. It's okay to relax every now and then and give others chance. You could always state your opinion anyway during your meeting times if you disagreed with something. After all it's all a group work right? you're not alone in this, and you can't let your group work alone either. Makes sense?
Now I had to work with someone, and it was one bad experience that I truly regret not taking an action about it. Gotta admit I was going through a really tough time, but it's a lesson I'm never forgetting, ever! I had to work with someone who did nothing when it came to delivering the task, and wouldn't let me state my opinions because '' I joined late '' . It was partially my mistake because I was kind enough not to inform the teacher, as a result to that, the person went to the teacher before the presentation day and said some rubbish about me, so many untrue things like i didn't work on the assignment, and because I was in Oman for 4 days before the deadline for presentation the teacher bought the person's words and guess who was the mistaken one... ME! I don't care about what has been said behind my back and the poor performance or what others thought of me, all I know is what goes around comes back around - enough said - and this is the first and last time this happens to me, I haven't really relieved my mean side because it's not so pretty, it's pure evil and I don't want it to ever show anyway.
The moral of that story is, have a cooperate agreement people, and stick to it. Whoever goes against it should get the punishment they deserve.
Some people again mistake work relationship to personal, so you might as well come across those who would go like, but we're friends. Don't let these words abuse you, because a true friend won't use you in such way where your case is lost, it's either work well or don't work. There is a different when you're working and how serious you have to be because this results in your future, and when someone's just being childish or selfish.
People, do not mistake friendship when it comes to work, respect the fact that work is work, there are consequences resulting in bad work (or good) . You don't hold your own fate here, but other peoples' too !
So yeah, there are few tricks to go on in a team, set the rules and you're good to go. Oh, and don't you go bad mouthing about others because it would only show how cheap you are, just saying! Children complain others, straighten up and be responsible, know what actions you should take, but wisely!
Here were my 2 cents, who sent you sent for me? oh wait, I suddenly sang EMINEM's song :p so yeah.. cheers!

Aren't you my friend?!
x : "can you lend me some money please"
y : "Sure, here you go"
after days.. weeks.. months?
y : " hey remember you borrowed money from me, when are you going to give it back?"
x : " aren't we friends?? These things shouldn't come in between, why being so stingy? etc etc etc.."
This is the scenario that annoys me the most.
We've reached to a level, where if someone asks you to lend him something, and after a while you ask for the thing back, they go all like, we're friends and you shouldn't really make a big deal about this, I haven't expected this from you.
But... wasn't it mine in the first place?
Some people don't really feel ashamed to ask you for things, even if their relation is not so strong with you. If you refuse they would talk around about how stingy you are that you don't want to lend something to them. They would also say that would return it to you later on, but when the time comes and you remind them that they have to give back what's yours, they would make you feel guilty somehow even though you haven really done anything wrong, they would go like 'so you're making a big deal out of this now? is this how much you need it? can't you get another one for yourself' DUDE, it's mine OK! How dare them talk in such way, I mean... don't you really feel ashamed of such actions?! Firstly asking for something that's not your, and then when the time comes to give back you make it sound like it's no big deal that a person shouldn't ask for his own things back.. Think about it, where is your dignity?
Using friendship in such cases is considered as abusing to be honest, a true friend won't use the 'friendship' as an excuse to borrow things.
There are some people, who if you told them 'No' would immediately disappear from your life, like they never existed.. but aren't we friends?! Apparently, if you don't lend them things then you're not a friend, this is the sad story that we're living nowadays!
I was never the type who would say 'no' to ''friends'' because I valued the friendship, and I wouldn't -later- ask them to return what's mine because I was too shy to do so. Had to learn it the hard way... Some people do take advantage of others and feel no shame about it, so why should I feel ashamed too right?
If your friendship means borrowing my things and never giving it back then to hell with this kind of friendship, I don't need you, apparently you're in need with my objects. I work hard to get things, in the end you take it and blame me later for making it a big deal? That's an ultimate nonsense.
There are people who use sweet talk to do such things, it only makes me laugh at them whenever they start their ways, at the same time I pity them.
Now of course everyone might go into some sort of trouble and would need any kind of 'help' from their friends, but there's a limit and there's some sort of respect that maybe if I couldn't help you today, you would still talk to me and appreciate me as a friend, after all everyone have their own excuse. There also is the kind of understanding that you return the thing when you're able to, don't pretend like nothing happened. Don't be a heavy load on someone's shoulder!!
If you get rid of such people from your life, you'd be happier. Maybe you should say 'no' after all.. To those who abuse the meaning of friendship.
I loath such people and such actions.
But I love you my readers,

The worse type of HYPO
Hola!
So previously I've explained what Hypo is, I don't mind explaining it again : When the glucose level in the body goes low. you could check this link for more info
Today I've experienced a scary moment, truly. I thank god I could control it somehow.
Well, as I also previously explained how I recently begun to lucid dream, and it do gets scary sometimes, out of control little bit?
I woke up with this weird ache in my head, felt like someone hammered my head. I opened my eyes trying to figure if this was real or another dream. I was too tired to think, too tired to survive what I was going through.. I felt like fainting, but if it's a dream then it's okay to faint right? In dreams I can't get harmed.. My body was shivering, I was feeling so weak.. Focus brain.. Focus.. This isn't a dream.. but, I can just let it as well happen since it won't really effect me.
I was too confused, exhausted, & too weak, no power to figure out if this was another dream or reality.
Whenever I felt like I was going to faint, or whenever I fainted and tried to survive, I told myself to stop for a while, close my eyes take a break to collect the power I need to stand up again, and it worked, but in this case since I got a hypo as well, I knew if i let myself rest for a second I wasn't going to wake up easily this time. It was quite dangerous situation.
I had a bar of kinder bueno, gotta admit it tasted yummier than any other time I've eaten it. I've felt like I haven't eaten for too long, then again even when I was eating it, I was still thinking if this was real or not.
When I got the control back, and the shivers stopped.. I ate some biscuits like I haven't eaten since 10 years or so 0.o .
I was told when glucose is low, a person starts eating like there's no tomorrow, especially sweet things which is so unhealthy, I tried to stop myself but I somehow couldn't, brain told me to eat much as I was and convinced me somehow that this is the last time I would eat this much after a hypo but who am I kidding... it's food we're talking about. Meh.
It made me think too, that I have to keep a journal, or more like a diary about my food habits only, this would help me a lot knowing the wrong habits I have and what I need to correct.
Dad keeps telling me, this is the right age and time to take care of our health and body, if we took good care of our body now, late age at 30s and 40s it won't give us hard time, otherwise you know what happens!!
Would you rather live on meds or healthy and powerful when you're old?
Think about it.
I'm loving the font, seems like I'll be using this forever and ever ;p

A month of no GAMING
Ever since I came back to Oman, I made an oath to myself of not playing any game. It's more of a resolution. I promised myself to devote my time to my family members, well even they're not around I wasn't allowed to play any video game.
In the beginning it was easy not to play anything because I was busy catching up with family and friends. I didn't even have time to check my facebook much, which is good actually I wanted to be busy and away from social network websites. I haven't touched my laptop for the first 2 complete weeks. I felt like it was a successful mission. After 2 weeks, it started to get a very little boring, I mean.. I started to get the urges to play. I felt like I was an addict and they took away the drugs at once. YES, it's like that okay. I had to do some work for dad so I had to use the laptop later on, so I opened my 'League of Legends' client, there was an update so I was like okay, this is a sign that I shouldn't play yet.
There were times I was bored to death [ night time, well as it's summer holidays, no one sleeps early, wait.. who am I kidding, either ways I don't sleep early haha ] so I would get angry and would want to play but I find excuses to take my mind away, because I know if I started playing I wouldn't really stop, and I'd play contentiously which will ruin the holiday and my plan to devote my time to my family.
I'm so glad I passed one whole month of not playing. Today this ends. I'm going back to playing OK.
The thing is, once you're a gamer.. you will never ever get bored.
Look at the bright side, you don't have to waste money on anything, you're having fun, spending time and not wasting money or getting bored. See! it's fun.
Let the gaming session BEGIN. See you fellas.. when I'm done playing !!!
Kiddin.. I'll be postin' soon.

HomeMade Frappucino !
As most of you must have known already I'm a frape addict. Coming back to Oman means I won't be able to go to any cafe' more often just like how I used to go to Starbucks everyday in Deventer. Well, things aren't close by that you could go by walking [ Even if you were a rambo and decided to walk, the weather won't have mercy on you ] so yeah, I end up craving for things that I won't get. :( Sad sto
ry I know
So I decided, hey!! why not make my own frappucino YAY!!
You need :
- Ice cubes [ 1 cup or 2 ]
- Vanilla syrup \ Caramel \ Chocolate [ depends on the flavor that you favor!! ]
- Coffee
- milk [half cup is okay]
- Sugar
Now remember, syrup isn't the same as the vanilla essence or anything like that.
How to do it :
put the coffee in the milk, add the sugar in it and the syrup and then stir it.
Now I won't tell you how much of each you need to put because it depends on how you like it, ofx you can taste it and decide what more you need to add.
Then put your ingredients in the blender and add the 2 cups of ice in, blend READY!
you can always add whipped cream on top to give it that professional look
I didn't really have caramel or vanilla syrup at home, there was chocolate only and I totally dislike chocolate drinks, so I made my own vanilla syrup, it's easy to make. [Haven't figured how to do the caramel yet so yeah, I'll go buy me a ready one better]
Vanilla syrup.
Ingredients:
- one cup of water
- one cup of sugar
- 3 or 4 tablespoons of vanilla extract
How to do it :
Let the water boil, add sugar in it and stir it. When it becomes clear add the vanilla extract to it. Stir it for a while.
Enjoy your drink!

Perfumes [ Part 1 ]
This post is dedicated to the perfumes I really love.I only try different perfumes when mom buys them for me, otherwise I'd go for almost the same collection. Those essences bring back some sweet memories and I like to remember them actually. Therefore, even when I change my perfume collection from time to time, you'll find some of the old perfumes in my collection.
- Miss cherie Dior.
I remember not liking this perfume in the beginning :P it was given to me as a gift I guess? and I felt like okay I'll use it everyday to finish it quickly [ I rarely throw away things xD ] but then I was surprised by how I fell in love with the smell. Soon it was so addicting, kind of smell that took my own breath away. It's so sweet and strong.
Recently I've gone to so many shops in the Netherlands, but couldn't really find it. I found a similar bottle of perfume but 'cherie' wasn't written on it, also the smell wasn't so strong. I've asked around and they said they don't sell this one anymore. I was really upset because I'm in love with the smell of this perfume. I think I saw a bottle of it in Oman's duty free section I have to check again next time I go :o wish me luck I really want this perfume so badly :<
- Paco rabanne black XS
Funny story about this perfume is, back in early 2000 I used to watch a series called 'Angel' I'm pretty sure you all know it, the handsome vampire <3 so yeah every time there was a break, an advertisement of this perfume would come, if I'm not mistaken they were the sponsors? So just because I loved watching Angel so much, and they were the sponsors I fell in love with the perfume without even knowing how it would smell.. But ey! I wasn't mistaken, it smelled really good, and I still love it!
- Versace : Crystal Noir
This perfume has a very sweet smell, it was one of those to get rid of perfumes too haha. I also like the light brown color versace the 'yellow diamond' one, they're pretty decent perfumes with light sweet smell that doesn't fade away easily.
- Carolina Herrera
I remember sneaking to my mom's room to use this perfume. It was mom's and I loved it so much. It has this sugary kind of smell that drives me crazy. I tried the pink one but it doesn't smell as good as this one
- Anfasic Dukhoon [28 aug? ]
These perfumes if I'm not mistaken have that mixture of Frankenstein smell but in a different way. I think I don't know how to describe it, but it is the arabic kind of perfume. Each smell has a certain date. I was given this one as a gift too, it was just a normal perfume which soon was one of my favorites! I think the one Mom gave me was 28 Aug? See, everytime I go to city cintre the stall is closed or something happens and I forget to buy the perfume, but I'll make it a mission to get it before I go abroad.
There was this one perfume I used to use, it had a very strong smell, that sometimes I'd suffocate for a while but I just loved it so much.. Can't really remember the name of it, but I do know how it looks like, I'm not sure if it's available anymore, it came with a pink shaped heart and a cream. It's another mission to find out the name of it.
So yeah there are my favorite perfumes, each have so many memories.
Next post would be the male perfumes, stay tuned :D
Reading ...
Once upon a time, I read lots of books. I'd read for hours and hours, yet I wouldn't actually get bored. Not that I get bored now or something..It's just that I no longer give time to reading anymore.
There was a while when I literally considered books to be my best friends. I'd rather read than talk to my classmates when we had a free period at school, the time where everyone would talk, gossip, brag and all kinds of things, except for me. Believe me : No regrets! I enjoyed every minute I spent reading every single word.
There was a pleasure in spending all that time reading. I felt like i was feeding my soul so much that after finishing a book I feel so full, the good kind of full not the one which after eating you feel lazy and can't move... get the picture? :P
Even when we used to go to UAE [ well, we used to go every weekend I kind'f got bored of shopping] so I would go to the library in the mall and spend hours reading, not feeling the time ticking. Here also [ in Oman ] I used to go to borders whenever the family decided to go to 'city center' and would sit there not minding how long it was.
I actually have so many books and magazines that I've collected ever since I was 9 ? Mom always threatens me to throw them away but I go like ' NOOOOO ITS MY PROPERTY ITS MY TREASURE I SPENT A FORTUNE ON THOSE... MY BABIES! ' God knows how many 'majid' magazines I collected through all those years. Didnt see that coming? well yeah I always went to the shop [mal 7ara] Tuesday night and bought the magazine because waiting till Wednesday which was the official day was too mainstream haha! That on one side, and my novels... they're everywhere around the house.. no wait mom put them in the storage room.
I haven't really read a proper book since two years now? Recently as I came back for vacation, I went to bareeq Al-shatti mall where there is a section for 2nd hand books\novels and bought me 2 novels. I'm still reading the first novel and didnt finish half of it yet, yes.. no time! But I'm planning to take a few with me back to the Netherlands and seriously start reading since I spend time on train [which might not be the case if I moved] but yeah, it's a good way to spend time, I'm trying to be a less of a gamer but I think the habit of gaming would be back once i go there :P !!
I'll create my own little library at my house there, promise :P !
Time to feed my soul again and get creative.. you know that effect you get after reading so many books.
If you fellows have any book suggestions, please do mention the names I'd like to read different things and see your opinions.

Spam? Really?
Hallo!
So I know some people, who join the social network websites, and then complain about how they get spammed. Is it really a spam by people, or is this the real purpose from such websites.
Facebook, twitter, instagram, LinkedIn, etc.. These websites are made for such things, to share moments, pictures, statuses and other stuff, so when you decide to join whatever social network website then you should be okay with the consequences.
Now there are different types of people who use such websites :
- There are those people who their presence and absence is just the same, they are the ones who like to be in the ninja mode. They have accounts, however they don't post, like, share or do anything at all.
- There are those who are over-excited about stuff, and they don't differentiate between what should be private and what should be shared [super annoying, those are the ones who make me laugh.]
- There are those who just are the addicted, they like to share whatever they find interesting\funny\scary etc.. It's addiction you can't control it any longer but yeah they know their limits, unlike the people on the previous example they don't share much of personal life info. [ That should be me.]
- There are the average people, the not so addicted ones but normal ones who just post occasionally.
Which type are you, summoner?
Remember there is always a button to ignore, or to not get news feed from any person, you could always do that, just don't complain much once you have decided to join such thing.

I HAVE MY OWN MINIONS!!
yes, I'm so super over excited.
Today we went to the movies to watch : man of steel, and something happened.
What I like in Netherlands, is whenever a movie is released they make a whole environment of that movie, everything related to it [ yes we don't have that in Oman ] so anyhoo, apart from all the big posters of 'despicable me 2' they have put those provocative fluffy minion teddy bears. YES, THEY'RE PROVOCATIVE, they were calling me. They told me to buy them and they'll make me so happyyy, so I instantly bought them, one big minion and 3 little ones.
ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMGGGGGGGGGG MY MINIONS!!
IM SO HAAAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
wooohoooo
Oh yea, man of steel.. good movie, they like to break buildings and cars, all that so superman saves earth.. i mean.. nevermind good movie :P enjoyed!

Don't trip & fall in front of me.
So I have this very bad habit. Whenever someone trips and falls, like literally fall on the floor I can't help but laugh. You see, I have this problem of not being able to hold my laughter. I love laughing and once I start laughing it gets hard to stop me then. [true story!]
My beloved cousins tripped and fell in front of me many times and instead of helping them I would just laugh, and what's worse... I point and laugh. It happened that later on, on some days I tripped and fell, and then I would text them telling them that I remembered them when I fell, the thing is, I laugh at myself too, because it's stupid, I mean.. We're all grown up how can we still fall on the floor like that eh?
Also, when around me, avoid those awkward situations because I'll end up laughing, and if I did something like that I would still laugh. It's better to laugh at yourself instead of feeling bad others would laugh at you, you see when you laugh at yourself that fun of laughing at you goes away and people won't find it funny to laugh anymore, you following what I'm saying? As for me I think laughing it off would help making the situation less awkward and more funny to remember it later on. Like, I still sit with my cousins and remind them of the days and we all laugh at it, because it was FUNNY!
However, there are limits ofx, I know some people who could be insecure when things like that happen therefore I try hard not to laugh at it at that moment, maybe later on yeah, but not at that very moment.
To my friends, you might as well be aware, I'm not sparing you my laughter, anything happens I would really laugh. Fullstop.
Oh here is something that happens often to me, and I pretend that I was waving for someone else, someone who if anyone turned to look who I was waving for, they won't find the person coz s\he's long gone, I don't embarrass myself, and if someone was next to me and saw that the other person didn't look at me waving at them, I would call that person out loud to wave back. YOU DON'T DARE IGNORE ME WHEN I WAVE AT-CHUU. Wathaaa!

Attention seeking level : Pathetic.
I thought of writing another thing that bothers me and makes me stay away from people. Yes, I'm kind'f expressing and explaining why do I prefer having few close friends than so many friends. Why I sometimes rather be alone.
So in this post, I would explain the pathetic type of people in my view. Again, they lack self-esteem, perhaps seeking attention and since they're not really talented or have something cool about themselves, they seek attention in a different disgusting way. Yes, I said disgusting. [ Moni, I know you're reading this and giggling to yourself, I love you. and I know you understand what I mean hahah ]
I'm looking for a good way to put this together, trying to explain it without sounding mean or rude. Matter of fact, I don't think it is rude at all, or mean, it's just being honest and talking about a phenomenon which seems to be so okay and normal nowadays.
Example 1 : A person who looks pretty and normal. She would nag about how others are prettier and she's not pretty just so you could say to her 'oh no, you're pretty' and you know that kind of stuff.
Example 2 : A person who weighs just fine but would talk about not being in shape and needing to lose more weight.
Example 3 : A person who exaggerates about deserving more than what they get. Seriously?
Example 4 : A person who uses their 'illness' as an excuse for everything that happens in the whole world.
Example 5 : If a person thinks everyone is racist and uses it as an excuse. yes, happened a lot and I've seen situations and I was like wth?
You get what I mean right? Why would anyone seek sympathy from others? it's just pathetic, and I hate it. Why would you show others that you're weak and in super need of everyone in the world's support? What about your dignity... no dignity at all? I understand and know that we all need support in one day or another but you don't do that with everyone. You don't show everyone in the world that you're weak and you would die if they don't show sympathy, straighten up and hold yourself together, there is nothing you can't do, everything is possible if you work for it, if you do believe you deserve whatever it is then just believe in it you don't need others to tell you yes or no.
Whoever acts that way is just another 'NO' person on my list. you don't use a problem of your life as an excuse for everything, you're not the only person going through hell every now and then, everyone goes through tough time, you don't need to make an advertisement to the whole world and get a special treatment for that, just work it out. Bleh.
Another secret of disliking people revealed. I just hate the overdose of drama everyone seems to act in nowadays, too much for me.
Don't get me wrong, I have my awesome list people, and I have awesome friends! I'm talking about everyone else who couldn't make it to my list =P as for you my readers, since you're reading this you should know you're awesome too!

Buy a Personality!
Well, it would have been a long title if I wrote 'Here honey, take some money and buy a personality next time you want to go shopping' or something like that, get it?
So, this time I would like to write about these people, who have no personality at all. They move with the wind. It's very annoying to have such people in your life [ but good to laugh at ]. Pollution to the air we breath. No I'm not being mean, I'm just expressing about what bothers me and because such people do exist and they annoy me.
Basically, let me explain how this works. 'x' in your group has no personality, so when 'x' joins 'y' s\he pretends to like and dislike the same things but has no opinion of his\her own, and after a while s\he starts acting like 'y'. Then 'x' goes to 'z' and does the same with the likes and dislikes, starts talking the same. & the legacy goes on and on ...
WHY??
it's not really so hard to have mind of your own you know. You have no identification of yourself if you have no personality, and you're the most boring person ever then. it's like being a faceless person, who wants that eh?
Usually people who have no personality are the same ones who have no self-esteem.
Start believing that you're special in your own way, don't be scared to say what's in your mind or if you disagree with certain something, everyone's different. You don't need to be constantly guided by someone, have a say every now and then.
I know a lot of people who are like that, matter of fact is I stopped hanging around them or spending so much time with them because it gets boring and very annoying.
See, I have a problem. Due to certain situations that I've been through, I started liking people very less, and I don't get impressed easily or interested, and it's very hard to find someone who I really do enjoy talking to, give and take information etc.. Most of time I'm really quite. I observe people around me and decide who's worth talking to by listening to what they say. I try too hard to talk with anyone randomly but it doesn't work because they're either too fake and it's obvious therefore I don't waste time [maybe I would just listen to laugh at them later and thank god I'm not them] or they're people with no personality, agree to anything\everything change around people and try to please certain people for some reason. Too stupid.
Yeah back to the subject. Thinking of some people I know with no personality pisses me off badly.
I know, the solution is to face these people and tell them because they lack the awareness and they don't know that they behave in such way, but who am I kidding? People don't like if you confront them of something, mostly they would assume you're jealous of them, or something like that which is sad. In this phase of time people want to hear what pleases them not the honesty.
So yeah, no solution to those people. Say that I gave up, yes I did. I'm not bothered to try with anyone knowing that in the end I'll be the one mistaken and no appreciation would be there at all.
Staying away from such individuals is what I would do.

Starbucks = Deventer !
To start off, I will clear something : I live in Enschede, while my uni is in Deventer [some changes occurred I had to transfer uni location but didn't have the time to move to Deventer yet!]. Enschede is 45 minutes away by train from Deventer. In Netherlands, you can't find so many restaurants\cafes that we're used to go to in Oman [any Arabic country!]. Pizza hut is only in Amsterdam. There is no costa coffee, 2nd cup, hardeez, or Nandos here. Kfc is in some places.. Doesn't matter since I don't eat except halal meat, but yeah you get the idea right?
Anyone who knows me well, knows how crazy I was about 2nd cup, it was my favorite and I went there almost always in Oman, the staff [different branches] knew me as well. Since there is no 2nd cup here I had to find a replacement!
I was never a fan of starbucks, but since it's like the only cafe here and I crave for certain kind of coffee... why not! There is no Starbucks in Enschede.. Bummer! Recently, earlier in September they opened one in Deventer it seems. The advantage and the disadvantage is that it's on the way to uni, 1 minute away from the station, advantage coz it's near and the disadvantage because I go there EVERYDAY! & Yes I drink the same thing every single day, it's something similar to caramel chelate in 2nd cup = caramel frappucino.
I wanted to try something different but well, it's kinda a hopeless case, I mean I'm just happy that they have starbucks, but no they don't have all the different kinds of coffee like in Oman, I tried ordering something a friend recommended but meh, so yeah sticking to my frape <3
I love the part where they write your name on the cup, everyone there recognizes me. I'm Pasta! In the beginning I was too shy to say 'pasta' when they asked what's your name but then, it became normal and they actually liked it, I mean it did make them smile, something unusual huh! A blond girl only recognized me and was like 'I know you, pasta!' but then everyone else knew me. Once I didn't even have to say my order, a girl said 'oh hey you're pasta! i know your order, get it by the end of the bar'. It flatters me.
I'm an IBMS student, and I know what this is, it's a way of marketing you know, keep customer happy and s\he'll come back, much as I want to resist, I find myself going there everyday. I feel special, I bet no one goes there as much as i do, but yeah you can't blame me I almost eat nothingfor 5-6 hours everyday, so a cup of coffee isn't much eh?

First it was hard for them to digest I meant PASTA, the food =P
Oh hey, they got it finally!
Kaspars decided to join and be the cheese to the pasta =P
Today I told them I want to be a cheese burger. Kaspars was chicken burger but he made a mistake of saying 'drinking here' so he didn't get the paper cup and no name was written, but they sure shouted 'Chiken burger' =P
Well, we should come up with other names soon, I mean ... it's funny when they call you. Deventer Starbucks, you da best =D

Despicable Me!
Who's not familiar with ' Despicable me ' ?
You can't miss an awesome movie like that!
I've seen part one for more than 7 times, and I still enjoy watching it. I would get so excited to watch it over and over again if anyone said 'hey let's watch it!'
Those cute little minions are the reason I watch. THEY ARE JUST SO DAMN CUTE!!!
I love how they're all obsessed with BANANA!
Here are some videos that crack me up and actually excite me. =P
That's the trailer for the movie part 2 ^
Yes, this movie drives me crazy. It's been a while since any movie made me literally go *WOOT WOOT*.
Part two of the movie was released recently, I've been to the movies twice to watch it, and it won't be long till I download it and watch it again. I wish I could hug those minions<3 They're just so CUTEEEE.
You could ask my friend about how I enjoyed the movie more than anyone *_*
If you haven't seen it, YOU SHOULD GO WATCH IT NOW!!!
make sure you watch both parts, I personally prefer part one more.
Something you wouldn't want to miss no matter how old you are, I made my mom watch as well.
Grab any baby siblings\cousins\nieces\nephews and watch it all together, you'll enjoy. I promise!
POCA BANANA!!!!
ps. yes i did my flying move and woot woot move when I saw those vidoes :p to those who know how I woot n fly hahah
Agenda!
I could see the number of viewers increasing, and checking the blog every now and then even when I'm not posting, that flatters me a lot. Readers, minions, followers I send you my regards and LOVE! Been busy with the exams, therefore couldn't have the time to post anything but hey, I remembered something I wanted to share. Something that has changed my life. The word on the title... yep : AGENDA!
Always, reading that word made me feel like it's related to spies and dangerous stuff like that, especially when I used to listen to Craig David's 'hidden agenda'. Dunno,, just me and my thoughts!
I was never ever the type of person who would plan my day\week\month, and the idea of it just made me feel so angry. I was always the type of person who would go with the flow, no plans no headache. I want to go out now, I will! I want to study, I will.. I want to watch TV anytime, heck I will, why plan?
My parents would always yell at me, and told me to plan in order to not miss anything out or do things on the very last moment, but ey! There was the joy right.. doing it in the very last minute!
That doesn't work with me the same way anymore. Doing things in the very last minute and not planning is no longer an option, and not planning isn't an option.
We had this 'personal development' class which I thought was useless, but I was mistaken =P if it wasn't for my teacher -who I'm giving all credits to, Mr. T - I wouldn't have started using Agenda. He kept on telling us every week and asking us if we have an agenda yet or not, make us feel bad if we're not using one. I went to a very short vacation to Oman [4 days] and told mom 'I need an agenda! i know you have lots of those' and she was actually surprised. I think she finally realized that I know now how it's important to plan and have and agenda.
Mr. T made a bet with those who don't use 'agenda' and he said use it for a while and then I'll see if you would be able to live without it. I told myself 'who would want to use an agenda always, it's like being a robot' but yeah, I was mistaken and he was right. Once I started using it, it's a bit hard to stop. I mean with all the important events you need to attend\do stuff it's written there with the time, date and day! makes life much easier.
It also kinda makes me feel like a vip.
person ' Hey Lamy, you free on blabla day?' Me ' oh hey wait let me check my agenda'
yeah, badass boss over here!

ciao.

Lucid dreams
Hoi !
If you're one of the regular readers, then you shall recall one of my very first posts where I mentioned how I love dreaming, and enjoy them a lot. Doesn't matter if it was a nightmare or a sweet dream, I enjoy them either ways, sometimes wish I could have popcorn & Cola while dreaming.. because things get interesting!
You could scroll down or find the first posts to know what I think of dreams.
I quote what I wrote in the last post
Okay, so I had no idea that this thing has a name. It's called 'Lucid dream' and I wasn't making up stuff when I said I could control my dream. Funny eh?!
It is an art actually, being able to Lucid dream.
1- Lucid dream is the ability of waking up in your dream while you're still asleep. The conscious mind is awake inside your unconscious mind. It feels so real.
2- Lucid dream is when you realize that you're dreaming, but you're somehow awake inside your own dream. So whatever happens you know you won't get harmed because it's just a dream.
Well, I didn't really know there is such thing... I just happened to have so many dreams where I knew it was a dream yet I kept on going on with the dream. There also were sometimes where I could control what exactly I wanted to see in my dreams and I really enjoyed every moment of it. If I'm not mistaken I slept longer at that while just to keep dreaming. However, sometimes all this got really scary. I could not describe the fear I had when I woke up because it felt so real, I couldn't -for a while- know if it was real or just a dream, it's amazingly scary yet enjoyable.
I don't know if this other case that I have faced has a name too or if it's considered as Lucid dream or not, but it happened to me twice where I knew I was sleeping, yet I felt like I wasn't in my own body, like I was staring at myself sleeping. I know this might sound really crazy but it happened and I was horrified because I couldn't control myself or wake up, all I know is I saw myself for few minutes maybe it was seconds and then blacked out. this shizz is scary I'm telling you.
I don't know about you but as I was thinking about this whole thing and as I'm writing it right now I'm thinking of the movie 'inception'. That movie had messed up my head a while back when I saw it. [my lucid dreams were even before watching the movie so no, it had no effect on inspiring me at all ].
Furthermore I will repeat this : Your dreams are nothing but the thoughts inside you. Yes, you're the one who builds your own dreams whether you know it or not [ subconsciously or consciously.]
just so you know, it's normal and healthy. Yes Lucid dreams have no harm on anyone.
I've also read somewhere to know if you're dreaming or not look into the 'mirror' if it's blurry and you can't see yourself, then it is a dream. Look at your hands, feet or any body organ if it's normal and usual size or do they look weird :p , if you're doing things that you don't really do in real life then yeah it is a dream.
The easiest way that Dad told me about whenever I asked him 'am I dreaming?' is to let someone pinch or slap you.. if it hurts then DUH you're awake otherwise enjoy ;p
I think I will make a journal about all those amazing dreams I enjoy every night. Got a story or a dream wana share? I'm the right person.. I enjoy telling and hearing about dreams.
there is a box there --> where you could write me a message or something so feel free to, otherwise if you want it to be private then I might as well give my email, just let me know :p

Seal your lips!!!
What happened to the word 'private'
Doesn't it mean anything, anymore?
" Got a secret
can you keep it,
swear this one you'll save!
Better lock it in your pocket taking this one to the grave,
If I show you then I know you won't tell what I said,
coz two can keep a secret if one of them is dead! "
Awesome people who watch pretty little liars are familiar with the lyrics above ^
Dad always told me, if you tell someone your secret, it's simply not a secret anymore. He was right, even though I couldn't agree back then with him, but life always teaches you the hard way when you don't listen to your parents eh?
Perhaps it was easy to find a true person back then -long long ago- but it's really difficult to find one nowadays eh? No one is simply loyal, it's all about 'looking for your own good' [ ma9ali7 ]
I won't comment furthermore about loyalty, friendship etc.. I'll focus on the topic I had in my head; Sealing your lips!
Some people don't have the word 'privacy' in the dictionary of their lives. They would constantly talk about everything without the feeling of 'shame'. What I mean by that is, they would just talk about their personal life to whoever, whenever! Get the picture? We don't want to know what you did in the shower! We don't want to know what 'x' said to you, we don't want to know what time you went to the toilet! SEAL YOUR DAMN LIPS!
Maybe tell one person, your bestfriend or something but don't tell it to everyone you meet. Those are the people anyone should avoid -unless you're a gossip person, then your job is done perfectly when you're with these people-
Where is your dignity? You know that these things are all related right?
Sitting with such people ruins my mood. They drain all the fun out of life. Also, I feel so uncomfortable with such kind, because anything I say next would be used against me, you know how that works.
Before telling your secrets or anything to anyone, make sure that person won't ever use those against you in the future no matter what happens [goodluck in finding such person].
It's not fun knowing every little detail about your life if I don't really know you well, and if we're not 'real' friends.
I think that is one of the things people with no personality face? I don't know... but as I deal with more people everyday I figure out no one knows how to seal their lips. Okay, so I tell you something even if it's not a secret I wanted to tell you, you only there is no need to go and tell everyone.. BAH!
As you're reading this post I'm sure you'll be thinking about some people who are like that, just a reminder be careful of what you say. There is an arabic quote :

لسانك حصانك ان تصنه صانك و ان اهنته هانك
which means : your tongue is like a horse, if you use it wisely it will save you, if you miss-use it, it will give you hell.
So yes, try to take it as advice and seal your lips. Not everything you hear is for sharing. & your personal life is yours, you don't have to tell people you just met what you did, know what I mean?
